Welcome to the class! We'll begin by drawing a circle split into the three primary colours---red, blue and yellow.


Continue with Secondary colours

Continue with Secondary Colours

We'll continue by dividing our circle further and layering colours on top of our primary colours to create secondary colours.


Finish with Intermediate colours

Finish with Intermediate Colours

With more layering, we'll dive deeper into colour theory and unlock intermediate colours that can be created by shading and mixing your existing colours.


In this workshop, you will learn how to draw the colour wheel using only red, blue and yellow coloured pencils. You will create a vibrant and essential tool for understanding colour theory, which you can take home to reference in your future artistic endeavours.
Don't worry if you're a beginner; this class is designed to be beginner-friendly and welcoming to all skill levels. You'll be guided through the process step by step, so you can feel confident in creating your colour wheel by the end of the session.
During the workshop, you'll be using red, blue, and yellow to explore the primary colours and their mixtures.
