Using thin good quality local native wood makes designing key rings easy.
Cutting the Wood
Using tenon or coping saws to cut the main shape of the wood.
Shaping the Design
Using a Shinto rasp and various files you can easily shape the key ring to suit your design.
Drilling
Using a hand drill to bore a hole into your Keyring.
Sanding
Using various grits of sandpaper to smooth the wood.
Wood Burning
Embellish a design onto your wood.
Oiling the Wood
Using good quality oil to seal the wood and allow the grain to be revealed.
