In this woodworking class, you’ll have the opportunity to make your very own wooden knife start to finish. Not only will you learn the essential hand tool skills and techniques needed for woodworking, but you’ll also leave with a beautiful handcrafted knife that you can proudly show off to your family and friends.
Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable with the tools and materials. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can pick up this new skill and create something truly unique and special.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll work with high-quality wood and precision tools, allowing you to unleash your creativity and build something tangible with your own hands. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a stunning wooden knife that you can cherish for years to come.
This workshop has two locations. Please choose the venue depending on the group size:
  • This workshop is available only at Millgum Farm in the Swan Valley for up to 8 participants.
  • This workshop is available only at Helena River Steiner School for more than 9 participants.
This workshop it is also available as a one to one workshop.

I founded Yol Creative in 2024 to provide art and woodwork workshops, aiming to empower individuals to explore their creative potential and foster a sense of community.
With a solid foundation in creativity cultivated at a Rudolph Steiner School in Switzerland and a double major in Fine Art from the University of Western Australia, I teach woodwork, sculpture, and art at three Steiner Schools.
At West Coast, Silvertree, and Helena River Steiner Schools, I have developed engaging woodwork programs, including a homeschooling initiative at Helena River Steiner School.
Workshops are held at Millgum Farm in the Swan Valley or at Helena River Steiner School depending on the number of participants.
